Timothy Rasinski is a professor of literacy education at Kent State University. Tim has written more than 250 articles and has authored, coauthored, or edited more than 50 books or curriculum programs on reading education. His research has been cited by the National Reading Panel and has been published in top-ranked literacy journals. A 2023 Stanford study placed Tim in the top 2% of scholarly scientists in the world.Peter Afflerbach is Professor of Reading in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership at the University of Maryland. His research includes focus on reading comprehension strategies and processes, verbal reporting, reading in Internet and hypertext environments, and mindfulness.
