Baoerji Yuanye is a writer of Mongolian descent from China. He is vice president of Liaoning Writer's Association and Distinguished Professor of Chifeng College. He has received many writing awards including Lu Xun Literature Prize, Junma Literary Award for Ethnic Minority Writers, and Inner Mongolia Literature and Arts Special Contribution Prize & Golden Medal. He was also awarded a Mongolian horse. His novel The Bravest was adapted into a movie in 2019.
