Carole Lindstrom

Carole Lindstrom is an Ojibwe/Métis/Cree/Haudenosaunee author, who is a proud citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe Indians. She writes books for children and young adults. Cuthbert Grant is Carole’s uncle, four generations removed. It came as quite a surprise as she was doing research on her Native ancestry to discover that she was related to him. She was very excited to read his story and discover what an adventurous life he led. She knew right away that she needed to share his story with the world so they could learn about the leader of the Métis people.

Linus Woods

Linus Woods is a Dakota/Ojibwe Indian artist from the Long Plain First Nation in Southern Manitoba. He is largely a self-taught artist. He uses acrylic, oil, and collage on canvas to create his art and he sees it as an expression and extension of his spiritual journey.

Reviews

Cuthbert’s care for the Métis and Indigenous people shines throughout his life. A good #OwnVoices purchase.
