Vicki Gibson, Ph.D., is an early childhood expert, educator, and lead author of Benchmark Ready to Advance and Listos y adelante. Devoted to developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula and professional development resources that enhance instructional effectiveness, Dr. Gibson actively uses Ready to Advance at the Collaborative Learning Center, which she founded at Texas A&M University.

Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan, Ph.D., is a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist and a Certified Academic Language Therapist, working currently with the Texas Institute for Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics at the University of Houston. She is the owner of Valley Speech Language and Learning Center, and she is the author of the Esperanza Program.

Karin Hess, Ph.D., is recognized for her work in developing learning progressions and cognitive rigor. As an international leader, Dr. Hess provides educators with research-based models for effective instruction that moves students to greater engagement and deeper learning.
